What is Adobe Edge all about?

Adobe Edge is Adobe's new software which enables emables non-coders to create animated and interactive HTML5/jQuery elements for web pages and mobile devices. For example, a sliding web banner. It is hailed as the new replacement for Adobe Flash, which unfortunately is becoming sidelined by the developers of mobile phone and tablet operating systems which no longer support Flash content. The HTML content is also much more effective for search engine optimisation.
